The OMRX is part of the Orbital X series of motors designed by Danfoss and now manufactured by White Drive Products. The OMRX is a geroler motor as compared to the OMPX which is a geroter motor. A geroler motor has rollers that act as bearings in the rotor section. The rollers reduce wear and friction while increasing efficiency. Geroler motors also operate more smoothly at low speed.
The OMRX a 3 zone motor that operates efficiently in either direction. It has life-long efficiency, high durability shaft seal and a plugged case drain that can be used for high back-pressure applications. There is also an optional needle bearing for heavy side load applications and seal guard for extra shaft seal protection. They also have an optional speed sensor.
The OMRX replaces the Danfoss DS and OMR series, and the White RS-200 series motors and interchanges with the Char Lynn S-103 series motors.
