The Cross C series monoblock type directional control valves provide good metering characteristics and long dependable service life. Select-fit spools give minimum leakage for maximum load holding ability. Many options are available including pressure release detents and solenoid actuators. Basically a series type valve, the first spool has priority in the 2-spool version. These valves are recommended for all general purpose applications except for metering-up with heavy vertical loads.
The Cross C series is a rugged and dependable low-cost valve. It operates at 30gpm, but only 2,500 psi (compared to 3,000 psi for the BA valves). It is a series type and is recommended for all general purpose applications. It does not have integral load holding check valves and should not be used to lift heavy loads in a vertical position. It will operate a double-acting cylinder or a bi-directional motor required to hold a load in neutral. The C series does not have a power beyond available and is generally not customizable after it?s built. All options need to be ordered from the factory.
