KleenOil filters offer on-board oil recycling for engines and hydraulic systems by cleaning the dirt from the oil, measuring as small as 1 micron, and removing almost all the water, which causes acids and corrosion.
The filter works in parallel to the rest of the system, cleaning about 3 quarts of oil per minute. It is not a substitute for the full flow filters already on the system, but full flow filters only clean the oil to about 10-25 microns, which does not offer much protection from the particles that will cause wear on the engine or hydraulic components. By keeping the oil super-clean, wear will be reduced in the engine or hydraulic components so they will last longer and require less maintenance.
The filter uses a hi-tech wound paper cartridge that needs to be replaced at regular intervals. Using the filter systems will make the oil last longer, so it doesn’t need to be changed as often, saving the user the cost of the oil being changed as well as the downtime and labor necessary to change it.
