The Cross 50 series, hydraulic gear pumps & motors feature a gear tooth design that provides more displacement within a given package size. Available in 7 sizes, with displacements from 1.52 to 5.20 cubic inches per revolution, this compact pump can deliver up to 45 gallons per minute in a space less than 6 1/2″ x 5 3/4″ x 7 1/4″. Gear tooth design and pressure-balanced loading plates provide high volumetric and overall efficiency while operation at a low noise level.
At Haverstick Bros., we can build most configurations of Cross pump or motor that you need in our shop. We have the tools and expertise to build, modify and test all Cross products. We typically stock the Cross 50 series as a dual rotation motor because Cross will test the unit running both directions instead of just one direction when they test a pump. A Cross motor can be used as a pump, but a pump can?t always be used as a motor.
An Extra High Pressure shaft seal is also available for pumps and motors. This shaft seal has an aluminum body that will not blow out under high shaft seal pressure. It?s useful for situations where a case drain is impractical or unwanted, such as a mobile concrete saw.
